Jumaane Williams

Thanks to our supporters for making the NYAGV Annual Benefit & Silent Auction a success! The event was held November 15 at the Prince George Ballroom in New York City.

NYAGV is grateful for all who came out to support NYAGV youth education programs to reduce gun violence.

Special thanks to:

  • Jumaane D. Williams, New York City Council Member, recipient of the NYAGV Founders’ Award, who spoke passionately about the impact of gun violence on New York communities;
  • The always entertaining Richard Kind, actor and comedian, who served as master of ceremonies; and
  • Mamarazzi, providing the wonderful music for the night.

It was also announced that the Allard K. Lowenstein Award for Public Service would be presented to artist, performer and activist Yoko Ono.

Thanks to each and every one of you who supported the event and NYAGV youth education programs!
