Students with Assembly member Carmen E. Arroyo of the Bronx at last year’s Albany Day field trip.

Students throughout the U.S. have re-energized the gun violence prevention movement. That’s why we’re working to bring more students from more locations throughout the state to this year’s Albany Advocacy Day field trip on Tuesday, May 15.

On this exciting day, students will have a unique opportunity to:

  • Meet with state lawmakers from their districts.
  • Share their stories about gun violence and advocate for strong gun laws.
  • Participate in a press conference with lawmakers.
  • Connect with other youth leaders from New York communities.

Will you sponsor a student for just $40 and help more students experience Albany Advocacy Day?

Each $40 donation covers the expenses for one student–including round-trip bus transportation, breakfast and lunch, and lobbying materials–and will help ensure they get the most out of this empowering day!

Thank you for supporting the next generation of GVP leaders!
