Gun-Country-cropped-nyagvExplore the impact of guns and gun violence on American life through touching stories and performances when you attend “Gun Country,” a theatrical exploration of firearms in America.

This year, the production–developed by Houses on the Moon Theater Company–will present three free performances, each at the Hostos Community Center in the Bronx.

  • Wednesday, April 6 @ 2 pm: Experience the reading of the new play, “The Assignment,” about how an English professor is shaken by a student’s essay describing street violence from the shooter’s perspective.
  • Thursday, April 7 @ 12:30 pm: Hear touching stories from people whose lives were changed by gun violence.
  • Friday, April 8 @ 7 pm:  This performance combines both the play reading and live story telling.
