Join NYAGV and other advocate groups for an advance screening of Under the Gun, a new documentary produced by Katie Couric. The film will be shown on Monday, May 9 at NYU Law School in New York City and is free to the public.
The event will also feature a post-film panel discussion.
The film explores the dynamics behind the nation’s gun violence epidemic and the reasons our politicians have failed to act.
Interviews with “gun-toting grandmas,” gun violence survivors and the activists campaigning for sane gun laws help put the gun control debate into historical context in this thought-provoking film.
Screening details:
- Monday, May 9 at 7:00 – 9:30 pm
