SH ride

Twenty-six cyclists will ride March 8-11 from Sandy Hook to the Capitol to remember all victims of gun violence.

Join NYAGV, elected officials, and other gun safety advocates this Saturday, March 8, as we greet Sandy Hook Ride’s Team 26 cyclists when they stop in Harlem.

With 26 riders representing the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook massacre, Team 26 will be making its way from Sandy Hook, CT to Washington, DC–a 400-mile trek–to call for federal laws to reduce gun violence.

After entering Manhattan via the 145th Street Bridge, Team 26 will stop for a welcome ceremony at the National Action Network at 106 West 145th Street at 3:30 pm. NYAGV’s Leah Gunn Barrett, Executive Director, will be one of the speakers at the event.

Please attend the rally and show your support for strong federal gun safety laws.
