Join NYAGV and other members of the New York Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence for a free public forum, Community Solutions to a Public Health Crisis: Addressing the Cycle of Gun Violence. The event will be held on Tuesday, February 6 at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan.

At this forum, you’ll find out about innovative, evidence-based solutions that are reducing and preventing gun violence in New York and across the country. Panelists include scholars, medical professionals, educators, advocates, and community leaders.

From street-level and hospital-based interventions to education programming in schools, community-based approaches are significantly helping save lives in communities that are disproportionately impacted by guns.
