NYAGV will be in Buffalo this Friday to celebrate with our Western New York supporters and to honor area leaders who’ve worked with us to support our gun violence prevention efforts.

By building relationships with New Yorkers throughout the state–both at the grassroots level and with elected officials–NYAGV works to build momentum for crucial laws and policies to protect our communities from gun violence.

This past year, the New York State Legislature passed several bills that NYAGV had advocated for: The Child Access Prevention bill; the ban on “ghost” (undectable) guns; the Extreme Risk (“Red Flag”) Protection Order bill; and much more. These bills could not have been passed without on-the-ground support and the valuable relationships NYAGV has cultivated over the years.

If you’re in Western New York, we hope you’ll join us Friday evening to raise a glass and celebrate these accomplishments. Please register here to attend the gathering on Friday, June 28 at 6 pm at Frank Loyd Wright’s Fontana Boathouse honoring Buffalo Mayor Byron W. Brown and U.S. Congressman Brian Higgins.

If you’re based downstate, or you can’t make it to event, please consider making a donation so we can continue to build relationships and advocate for gun laws and policies that protect all New Yorkers.

Thank you for your continued support!
