Reducing Gun Violence Summit: A Community Response is an open community dialogue hosted by the 67th Precinct Clergy Council and other community and anti-violence organizations. Its objective is to reduce neighborhood tensions as well as the volume and magnitude of conflict and violence; reverse community decay and juvenile delinquency.

Shaina Harrison, NYAGV Education Fund Program Director, will speak about  “Community Response to the Culture of Gun Violence and Gangs.” The “Hidden Effects of Gun Violence on Communities and Families” will also be discussed.

NYAGV Executive Director Rebecca Fischer will moderate the discussion with speakers from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Everytown for Gun Safety, the New York Attorney General’s office, and the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
