Stop by the NYAGV table at the Buffalo Peace and Nonviolence Festival–this Sunday, September 21–and show your support for child access prevention and safe gun storage by signing the petition for Nicholas’s Law (A8293/S7822).
Nicholas’s Law is a proposed New York State law requiring the safe storage of guns not in the immediate possession or control of the gun owner. Stop by NYAGV’s table to learn more about the law, sign the petition, and find out how you can add your organization to the NYS Coalition to Prevent Child Access to Guns.
Nicholas’s Law is named for 12-year-old Nicholas Naumkin of Saratoga Springs, who was shot and killed by a friend playing with his father’s unlocked and loaded gun.
