NYAGV, elected officials, families of gun violence victims and concerned citizens gathered at SUNY Buffalo on December 11 to remember victims of gun violence. The event was part of the National Vigil for Victims of Gun Violence, which marked the second anniversary of the Sandy Hook shootings.

Children from the Stop the Violence Coalition decorated a Christmas tree with names and pictures of children killed in the Sandy Hook shooting and shootings in Buffalo. Kids also held a candlelight vigil on the steps of Rockwell Hall.
